CommuniPak is a valuable resource when we
need to produce a promotional package. They have been very
helpful! They find solutions that fit with our design and
budget. When a project gets the green light, I can be confident
that all will turn out just as we expected.

CommuniPak is NOT one of those vendors that
you have to follow up with everyday. From the time I release
final art, to delivery of final product, they give me complete
confidence that my project will deliver in a timely manner
and will be an award winning piece. They are such a great
resource for me.

We have used CommuniPak for several projects
and when this new concept shaped up, we immediately thought
of them. The direct mail project was very unique and required
a creative and resourceful supplier. Conceptually, we took
a box and transformed it into a cat swallowing a computer
mouse! When we showed CommuniPak the conceptual drawing, they
jumped right into the project, producing a protoype and a
budget.
Of course, this project kept changing and CommuniPak worked
very well with us as a creative partner--producing revised
prototypes and pricing.
Once final approval occurred, we had a very short lead time
for production--CommuniPak came through, handling printing,
fulfillment and mailing. Our success was capped by our client
receiving 5,000 new contracts!
At one point, we were missing three chocolate computer mice.
We do have our suspicions--Steve Schrier was seen with a cat-like
grin! Seriously though, we have found CommuniPak to be great
to work with, with a level of professional service that you
don't always find in today's marketplace.

CommuniPak proved themselves in several ways. They sent us
samples of totes and educated us on the products and the production
process. They kept us informed about pricing and schedule
as we pursued different possibilities for this project, and
in the end, they delivered a quality product.

Case Study 1: United Van Lines Contract
Kit
When one of CommuniPak's client's was in need of creating
an organized and impressive contract kit for United Van Lines,
CommuniPak was selected for their experience in providing
cost effective kits.
United Van Lines previous contract and sales materials, although
effective individually, was not a united set of communication
materials. Steve Schrier, president of CommuniPak, suggested
modular pieces that fit together easily, allowing customization
based on the client's needs.
The design agencies developed graphics for a strong corporate
identity and this was adapted to each piece of the kit. CommuniPak
recommended economical materials and methods of construction,
engineered custom components that would fit and match other
components and provided sample mock ups.
In the end, United Van Lines decided on a kit that was composed
of a slipcase that held everything-folders, binders with tabs,
and literature boxes. With all components being produced under
one roof, CommuniPak was able to ensure a perfect look and
fit. They were also able to ensure an economical package whose
overall price competed with "off the shelf" products,
but had a much higher impact and a much larger degree of customization.
Once produced, United Van Lines kept each component on hand,
allowing for easy organization and assembly no more
scrambling to put together a sales proposal!
United Van Lines now has an organized kit that makes a favorable
and lasting impression, emphasizing quality and organization.
This package represents over 40% of their business. Personnel
from United Van Lines have commented on how well this kit
has been received by their prospects.
Case Study 2: IAMS Cat Foods Fur Ball
Press Kit
Fleishman Hilliard Design Group of Kansas City had a challenge
and an opportunity from IAMS Cat Foods. They were asked to
develop a press kit for a new product, one that prevents hair
balls in cats.
Fleishman Hilliard pursued a colorful design concept of a
box holding a fake fur ball with a sound chip inside. This
was sure to get attention! Since CommuniPak had served them
so well in the past, Fleishman Hilliard asked them to research
the possibilities of producing this on a quick turn-around
basis.
CommuniPak could easily produce the box and the sound chip,
but the fur ball was a challenge. After pursuing quite a few
leads, CommuniPak found a supplier who could produce this
custom product in the turn-around time necessary, proving
once again, that CommuniPak always does their best to exhaust
all possibilities.
